Our Journey
Hi-Tech Towing, LLC. is a family owned and operated business serving St. Thomas, Virgin Islands since 1997. The late Don A. Richards (shown in picture), is the founder of Hi-Tech Towing, LLC. He started this company with just one tow/wrecker truck. The vast number of services and equipment offered have grown over the years.

Founder
The late Don Richards was born in St. Thomas United Stated Virgin Islands. He started Hi-Tech Towing with just one tow/wrecker truck in 1997. Not only did he love fixing vehicles, he loved racing them as well. As the tale goes, Cyril E. King Airport stretch as well as the former Bovoni race track was where it all went down. The battle of who is the best of the best. Don's RX-7(s) were one of the fastest cars on island. He was a self thought mechanic, which allowed him to maintain the tow trucks. At his garage, most would say he had more tools and parts than Western Auto (now Advanced Auto Parts).
Don was so passionate about the business that he practically ate, slept and drank it. On occasions, he'd be heard saying "It's a business I'm running" or "I can drive from country to Bordeaux in 15 minutes".
Don's legacy lives on through Hi- Tech Towing, LLC. and his family.
